Some more cons I just thought of:
The star chat tag just adds to the rank superiority complex of players. I'd like it a lot more if they got rid of it.
Not really sure how the system works, but I hope that Sputt is not paid double because he has 2 VIP plots.
The Discord is somehow approaching Twitter levels of stupidity so I feel like ya'll will be more civilized.
Why are people so opposed to the idea of a VIP Pass? Here are my personal pros and cons that I've thought about:
Pros:
DiamondFire has added being the ability for Developers to be paid...
Going off of this, it would also be awesome if the other end of the extreme was considered and super huge world plots (like 1024x1024) were created, but maybe at that point you'd have to factor in how loading chunks would effect the CPU.
whats the problem with people retiring 2 months later? they don't wanna be a support anymore, so they don't.
your cons: of plot apps
- doesn't show temper
- doesn't show amicability
everybody gets mad at coding. you need to be able to problem solve in order to fix bugs quickly in a session...
i'm not really adding to the conversation here but the way you had these points sound like they are on a resume. it's a volunteer position that isn't too hard to get. you just have to be respected by the community (not toxic) and be a semi-good coder.
Granted, but you don't finish projects, instead insisting on making side-projects over on over again, barely finishing any of them while all of the rest collect dust. You eventually forget them and the process repeats.
I wish that I am JrHelper.

I should probably mention that it's not just javascript, it's node.js.
Before you go off copying all the code, there is more to a web server than just "type code, boom". You have to host it, which is a big pain, and unless you want your IP leaked you have to find a third party. Then...
Wish granted. However, 10 years later, the same amount of force needed to perform your unbreakable wish puts bad luck on you.
I guess you could wish for a pizza or something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
I wish for this thread to be deleted.
You need to know javascript if you wanna make a web server to use web request with. Also, you can't actually retrive information with web request, but you can still do some cool stuff. Anyways, it's just super complicated that you need actual coding experience for.
