Anyone know a way to fire a bobber?

I'm trying to figure out how to fire a bobber like the one from a fishing rod.

Anyone know?

Unfortunately, you can't. So you will have to emulate the bobber yourself.

Then again I already use a resource pack, so probably some kind of item display. Physics is going to be annoying...
