Banning Discussion

This is my first ever actual forum post, so please don't criticize it too much.​

Once when I was still learning how to play and/or use Diamond Fire, I was also into using mods and hacking. (can you see where this is going?) I started Minecraft with Impact and Baritone on, went into DF, and did whatever. (this was a long time ago so I can't remember properly [prolly 2-3 years ago]) I went into CCII (Chip Clicker 2) and started flying.

I could've gotten away with it, if someone didn't ask how i was flying in chat, and I responded, practically had a full conversation with them, AND there was a Mod/JrMod/SrMod/Admin on.

So I got banned -- obviously -- and not for a month, not 2 months, not a year, a perma ban. I'm sorry, last time I checked you give people warnings, then perma bans. Not just; "Me: Ooo this is cool Mod: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO". Then after a couple years of not playing DF, I got an alt.

Then while playing DF on my alt, I discovered how to appeal bans. (don't ask me why it took me so long) I made an appeal, and then after a VERY long time, got my alt banned for 30 days, and my main account banned for 30 days as well.

Now keep in mind I mean absolutely no harm/disrespect to the Admins, JrMods, Mods, and SrMods of DF.

I do not understand why I got banned on my alt.

First: I had done nothing wrong after I got the alt. (apart from a warning) I had not done anything I did in the past, nor did I deserve this ban.
Second: I have developers that need to know that I'm banned but I can't. (please let me know if you can msg people out of df if they aren't in the discord or forums)
Third: The only reason I go onto DF is to have fun, socialise, code because I can't seem to focus on normal coding, and because DF is one of the only places I go to to do those things I don't know what else to add on this reason so yea

Also, please note this is NOT a ban appeal, nor do I expect to get unbanned on either accounts I have.

Note 1; Date 10/10/2024: Also, I don't know what some devs could be doing on my plot, so I am highly stressed on if my plot has been greifed. *turns to Slushyboy1212*

Note 2; Date 13/10/2024: By "warning" I mean like get banned for 20 days, and then increase the ban times, not the warning like "[!] You have been warned for this and it expires when it wants to."

So I got banned

Then after a couple years of not playing DF, I got an alt.

Technically, you have evaded your permanent ban that was on your main account, therefore your alt was banned.

In 2021, "Movement Hacking" was a offense that was punished by a permanent ban, which includes flight hacks.
Even nowadays, cheating on DiamondFire gets you banned, you don't get a warning first.
When you're using a "utility mod" (hacked client), it is assumed that you know they shouldn't be utilized on public multiplayer servers, and have accepted the risk of using said mod. A warning wouldn't do much in this situation.
