How do templates work?

As from the picture below, we know that templates use NBT data. But, I cannot really see what the heck this data is, or if there is anyway to retreive it back, in a human readable language like JSON.


Alright, I said, so is it just base64??? Nope.

If anyone is wondering what I am doing, I am make a javascript to df code library.
This is highly technical because I dont think anyone except the devs is gonna know what this is.

Ha! I found it out, you just need to gzip it. But i still need to figure out what this data is...
