Important Reporting content

Hey everyone! Our forums are growing, which is great. Though it does bring one small problem: the spam bots. The knights in moderator armor try to fight them off, but to remove them sooner if they tend to slip through the anti spam laser defenses, we need your help.

These bots usually advertise websites or scams, and they are often Russian-based from the ones we've saw, meaning a lot of the time it's not English. To help prevent the community from clicking onto these sites, it would mean a lot if you could Report the content. Keep in mind though that you should not click the clicks that it may send.

Reporting content



Ryan here is my test subject in this example. Simply click the "Report" button on a post, and you will inform all of the moderators and admins right once they logon to the website that there is an issue. This helps us rid spam accounts faster, and better yet, it helps us protect the community. You can also report an Account in general by going onto the account page and clicking the shiny Report button.

You can also report general content if it violates our rules. This could range from spam, to harassment, to general advertisement, inappropriate profile, and much more. Additionally, you can read up on our rules HERE.

Ugh. Thread derailment. If this behavior continues from you I'll probably make a stupid forum post about this if this sort of behavior continues, just to stop every thread going to this. I'm starting to get quite annoyed.

Herro, bumping this post to help people out to ensure safety and security across the forums. We've seen a recent influx in bot/spam accounts that the staff team has been dealing with, and I'm letting this be a casual reminder that reporting suspicious content or accounts will alert the moderator and admin team once they login to the website so we can deal with the content fast. Thank ya!
