Hey.

I'm ThatAzazelFire, who used to be called "Fire Peas" when i was last seen on the server.

I was a user who was a very quick learner to the Diamond Fire coding system, i made quite a few beloved(?) games
Like a recreation of The Binding of Isaac (that i didn't finish), a Dungeon Crawler (that got kinda weird ngl) and MULTIPLE PvZ games, my original DF game being a PvZ game.

And of course, my two most famous games
"TF2 Kit PVP" and it's sequel "TF2 Team KitPVP" (should of came up with a better name).

Of course, i eventually grew bored of DiamondFire, even with the highest server rank (Overlord) i just felt, bored. empty and didn't have much to do, then without warning, i had an emotional breakdown and i grew distant from multiple communities and left quite a bunch, DF was one of them. after i finished recovering my username sense changed to "That Azazel Fire" a mirror of how i used to feel emotionally split, while whole at the same time. I started creating sprite work and art that I'm genuinely proud of. and i started returning to several places... except DiamondFire...

Like i returned a few times, but.. everyone i used to know, no longer knew me... i just felt outcasted. and worse yet. all my old plots were broken and destroyed by the updates (Looking at you "Loop removal"), and i forgot how to code within the system, so i just, left.

and i stayed gone, developing my characters, creating worlds, modding SRB2 and Rivals of Aether... but i lost interest with DF and Minecraft as a whole.

then, a few months ago. i was just like "what if i returned to DiamondFire" and so here i am... back within the community, but a lot less energized and creative, but still wanting to partake in the community... While my activity is as inconsistent as Half Life 3 getting closer to completion. I feel better about being in the server again.

but being gone so long has changed me, the new code blocks, the changed currency, another node. a bunch of JrHelpers, Mods and Admins come and gone... It's all new, and I'm going to have to learn the ropes with all of them again...

Hopefully i can keep myself together emotionally and learn how to code again.
Maybe I'll even make a new big plot... i have a few ideas, but some are pretty ambitious...

Well, i hope to see all of y'all more regularly again.

Man i totally get you. I've 'left' the server countless times, but i just don't think you can ever get over this community.
Look at creeperQ7, the guy said he's leaving diamondfire forever to pursue coding and be toxic, yet a few months later he returns with a whole new perspective on the server. It's beautiful and terrifying to think that one day i'll play this server for the last time, and i think every player wants to establish some sort of "legacy" once they leave. What i'm trying to say is... I'm glad you're back :)

This. In reality, out of all of the things I want to maybe accomplish on this server, the only one that really matters much to me is just to have people remember me when I eventually do leave.

I guess that applies to almost anything, no? Once you're gone, no matter whether it's a Minecraft server or whatever, the worst thing that can happen to you is to be forgotten.
