maybe try waiting a couple ticks before spawning the mob? There’s a chance the chunks aren’t loaded when you spawn it or something

I think its similar to the bug that a lot of games have, e.g. NPCS don't spawn and you need to reload the plot again. I don't know how this bug works and how to fix it but I've seen this bug occur in multiple games (including mine)

yeah that’s probably the chunks haven’t loaded issue
