I have a server error when i try to join DF (Only DF) that says:
Connection Lost
Internal Exception: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Cannot send packets when not in game!

DiamondFire is 1.20.4 now
Codeclient is already out for 1.20.4 on Modrinth https://modrinth.com/mod/codeclient
Recode is out for 1.20.4 but it's unstable so I wouldn't recommend it yet

Unfortunately, I can't help you with that. I already contacted the administrators to do it but they didn't do it yet.

Please try joining DiamondFire without any mods, if you manage to join please make sure all your mods are compatible with 1.20.4.
Specifically for the 2 mods you mentioned only CodeClient is updated to 1.20.4, for recode you'll just have to wait for a stable version.

anywhere from a day to a month, no one really uses the forums as the Discord Server is MUCH easier to use.

Yeah you can only join with 1.20.4 and up
