Hey guys, try to refrain from posting multiple comments before a reply if possible, especially if it's done to gain more of a post count or to rank up the user title ladder. I'm starting to merge posts to prevent that & spam. No warnings will be given, just a post removal/merge with your previous comments. A good rule of thumb is to include anything you need in one comment, or just edit the comment if you need to add more information, instead of posting multiple comments before any reply from another user. Yeah if you ever get your tag removed (e.g stepping down), you'll retain your appropriate user title such as Active Member or whatever title you would have. Just a little override

Yeah, that makes sense. I frown upon the idea of having a "Retired" tag in the first place anyway, so knowing that it'd go back to normal is a relief. The tag "Active Member" is misleading anyway, a member could be active at one point, and then they just vanish, but still have that tag. I'd recommend changing the role names to be less misleading, but it's not like people are gonna care about someone else's tag in the first place.
