the source for geyser currently has 181 active issues. some of which are labelled as 'missing client feature' thus can't be fixed df struggled to viaversion to a few versions back...

Unless this is newer behavior, iirc codewarps could be placed in the middle of lines? (e.g. If xyz -> codewarp) and you could (sometimes, it was inconsistent) have use the same warp multiple times. Also, at the end of each codewarp there should be a control: end (no returning from codewarps)

just came back to this post a little while later & just realized the original point of this thread was to replace a non-standard definition (soft coding) with a non-existent definition (plastic coding). not quite sure why we would invest time into making up a new term if it has the same issues

to answer the question, here some terms that can be used: dry (dont repeat yourself) - taking common code & extracting to a function orthogonal - modules of code are isolated from eachother & changing a single module produces no side effects i've never quite understood the backlash against...

i dont technically know what you expect to come of this other than that

this is one of those concerns that gets brought up in the (hypothetical) retired tag suggestion thread that for some reason gets taken seriously even though in practice, nobody would ever do it
